How Do I? Techniques for Adapting Classroom Materials for Visually Impaired Learners
As teachers of visually impaired learners, we leave materials in classrooms and homes to assist in adapting materials or include in the curriculum. As part of our Master’s project through Portland State University we are surveying teachers of visually impaired learners in order to determine what items are most commonly left in classrooms and homes, and how these items are implemented. We also would like to determine what kind of training is provided to families and school staff in using these items. From the results of this survey we will be producing an instructional CD or video which may become available to teachers of visually impaired learners. Your creative ideas are GREATLY appreciated!
